Another acquisition for Titan
Titan Machinery has acquired the assets of South Dakota based Case and New Holland distributor Scott Supply, Co.
Based in Mitchell, South Dakota, the family owned company was founded in 1915, and has revenues of around $40 million. The acquisition closed late last week.
Titan chief executive David Meyer said: "This acquisition is a perfect complement to our existing footprint in this highly productive region of eastern South Dakota. Scott Supply has been serving Mitchell, SD and the surrounding area since 1915 with a talented and experienced team of employees and a total commitment to excellence in customer service. As we join together, we aim to build upon that legacy and look forward to a bright future in this excellent market."
Titan Machinery is based in West Fargo, North Dakota, founded in 1980 it runs a network of more than 100 locations throughout the Mid-West and North West supplying agricultural and construction equipment, 37 of the outlets are dedicated to construction and include aerial work platforms and telehandlers. The company also has a few outlets in Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, and Ukraine as well as Australia.
