Tjitske van Hellemond, the managing director of JLG’s commercial and product support activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa left the business late last year to take up a post as chief executive of the Truckland Group, a major commercial vehicle and campervan distributor and rental business, which also trades under the Camperland brand.
The company is based in the Netherlands, where it has 16 branches and around 700 employees, with additional outlets in Spain and Belgium. The company is a DAF dealer and also represents several other commercial vehicle brands.
She replaces Eric Theuws who leaves the business after seven years at the helm.
