Stützle-Späth moves into Cranes

German access rental company Stützle-Späth has taken delivery of its first mobile crane, a 110 tonne Liebherr LTM 1110-5.2 All Terrain crane.

The five axle crane is equipped with Liebherr’s new Liccon 3 control system, and features a seven section, 60 metre main boom, topped by a 10.8 to 19 metre bifold swingaway extension that can be offset by up to 40 degrees. Two extra inserts can be added between boom nose and extension to provide a maximum tip height of 96 metres.
The handover

Managing Director Torsten Späth said: "We made the decision to buy our first mobile crane in order to offer our customers a comprehensive service. The LTM 1110-5.2 marks the beginning of a new era for our company."

"It offers a wide range of applications without the need for complex individual driving permits and with minimal set-up times, its technical features also convinced us. Our company is only 10 kilometres away from the factory so service and spare parts supply are therefore very close to us. I actually did my apprenticeship at Liebherr, it's now a special feeling to buy a crane from my former training company."
