Agricultural equipment dealer Hamblys has been appointed as the Bobcat dealer for Cornwall and Devon in the UK.
Steve Barrett, managing director of Hambly’s said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded the Bobcat franchise and to begin the next phase of our growth into the construction industry. We have recruited Lee Blewett as our Bobcat franchise manager, to lead our ‘Non-Agricultural’ business development.”
Bobcat regional sales director, John Christofides added: “Hambly’s is a professional business with an excellent reputation in the south west. We are looking forward to working with them to increase the growth of the Bobcat in this area in every sector from our traditional markets in construction, rental and agriculture to the newer markets such as ground maintenance equipment.”

Established in 1892, Hambly’s operates from five locations, two in Cornwall: Launceston - the company’s headquarters - and Redruth, two in Devon: Honiton and Torrington and a fifth in Somerset at Bishops Lydeard. The company deals in new and used agricultural and construciton machinery including tractors, combine harvesters, and telehandlers.
