ARA 2024 opens today

The ARA Show at the annual American Rental Association conference opens its doors this morning in New Orleans with a packed aerial lift section dominating the ‘Construction’ section of the show.

The following is a look at some of the new products and producers on show and a glimpse at some of the rest of what promises to be a sparkling and positive event.

Dutch company Hyrax making its ARA debut with the Hyrax 34ft ATD 27.12 - renamed the 27.41 for the US - and the 36ft ATD50.13 which becomes the ATD50.43. The 27 has an 8.75 metre outreach and weighs 2,720kg while the 50 has 10 metres outreach and weighs 4,850kg.

The Haulotte stand with the unveiling of the new HA16E Pro - in the background - which becomes the HA46E Pro in North America. The first unit to arrive in the US - with the Extender proudly on show - is already sold. The machine in the foreground is a regular HA20RTJ Pro/HA61RTJ Pro
