Two more Liebherr for Forsyth

Scottish crane rental company Forsyth of Denny has taken delivery of two new Liebherr All Terrains, a 60 tonne LTM1060-3.1 and a 90 tonne LTM1090-4.2.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 crane is equipped with a six section 48 metre boom and can be topped with a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which takes the maximum tip height to more than 67 metres, while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry all its 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations.

The four axle LTM 1090-4.2 features a seven section 60 metre main boom, plus a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with manual offset, for a maximum tip height of almost 80 metres. Other features include VarioBase variable outrigger set up, full remote controls for all superstructure functions and biodegradable hydraulic oil. In the UK it can travel with all of its 22.5 tonnes of counterweight.

The move follows the arrival of a 300 tonne Liebherr in December. See: 300t for Forsyth
