New 300t flagship for Haslach

German rental company Haslach has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 All Terrain, its new flagship upstaging a 260 tonner.

The six axle crane features an eight section, 90 metre main boom topped by an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, to which two seven metre inserts can be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a tip height of 121 metres.

Alternatively, a 43 metre lattice extension takes the tip height to 126 metres. Features include ECOmode, ECOdrive for cleaner more efficient drive, as well as VarioBase Plus outrigger set up and monitoring, VarioBallast variable counterweight, Auto-Ballast, and the wind speed related load charts.

Managing director, Roland Haslach said: "The expansion of our crane fleet was a long and well considered step that was only possible with our long-standing and well trained team. The team made it easier for us to choose the LTM 1300-6.3, which meets all our requirements.”

"Thanks to its long eight part main boom, we already get large lifting heights and at the same time enormous load capacities with an extension of 46 percent per telescopic part. Practical for operations in our mountainous region is also the agile undercarriage."

Family run Haslach was established in 1980 by Hermann, Ludwig and Euen Haslach. In 2020, the company was handed to the second generation and is now managed by Eugen Haslach's sons, Tobias and Roland along with a team of 12 employees.

The company is based in Wertach, southern Germany and runs a fleet of mostly All Terrains cranes, along with small aluminium cranes topped by the new 300 tonne Liebherr. It operates largely in precast concrete construction as well as in machine loading and construction crane assembly.
