US based heavy lift and engineering specialist Engineered rigging has taken delivery of a 585 tonne Enerpac SBL500 Super Boom Lift hydraulic gantry system, its second Enerpac hydraulic gantry system this year.
The SBL500 features a maximum lift height of 8.6 metres, the four stage - one fixed, three extending - telescopic masts/boom can fold for easier transportation with the entire system fitting on two standard flatbed trucks.
It has rectangular booms/masts for increased capacity and lifting height with a first and second stage capacity of 585 tonnes and 337 tonnes at the third stage, with each leg weighing 6.8 tonnes allowing two gantry legs to be transported on a flatbed trailer.
