XCMG has started shipping the production version of its new 80ft XGA26K1 articulated boom lift with dual platform capacity.
The unit uses a two stage telescopic riser, topped by a two section telescopic boom and jib with 135 degrees of articulation taking the working height to 26.6 metres.
The original production machine - dubbed the XGA26K - had a single 256kg unrestricted platform capacity at the machine’s maximum outreach of 19.5 metres, while the new final production version also offers a capacity of 350kg at up to 18 metres of outreach at up & over height of 6.6 metres. Four wheel drive and oscillating axle are standard with power coming from Stage V Kubota diesel. The unit has an overall weight of 18,100kg.

The machine has an overall width of 2.49 metres, with a stowed height of 2.95 metres and transport length with jib tucked under of 9.9 metres.
The first units have been shipped to the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary and the UK, while the company will also hold some inventory at its European base in the Netherlands.
