Japanese spider and mini crawler crane manufacturer Maeda has appointed Cropac Equipment as its official dealer for Ontario, Canada.
The new partnership was launched at this week’s National Heavy Equipment Show in Mississauga, close to Cropac’s Oakville headquarters on the west side of Toronto.

Maeda America’s chief operating officer Robert ‘Buck’ Trawick said: "Partnering with Cropac in Ontario represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to expand our footprint in the North American market. Cropac's commitment to excellence and their deep understanding of the lifting equipment market make them the perfect partner to introduce our mini cranes to a wider audience in Canada."
Based in Oakville, Ontario, Cropac was established in 1977 and is an official dealer for Tadano mobile cranes, Terex tower cranes, Manitex boom trucks, Kobelco crawler cranes, Broderson carry deck cranes, Potain self-erecting tower cranes, Tadano Mantis telescopic crawlers, Magni telehandlers and Taylor heavy fork trucks and handlers. It also has a substantial used crane sales business and runs a rental fleet.
In addition to its presence and market coverage in Ontario, Cropac has operations in Québec, Alberta, British Columbia and Nova Scotia.
