The municipality of Zolling in southern Germany has taken delivery of a 13 metre Platform Basket 13.80E spider to maintain a local gymnasium.
The electric 13.80E has a working height of 13.4 metres, a maximum outreach of 7.8 metres and maximum platform capacity of 200kg. Overall stowed width is 780mm, while overall length with basket removed is just under 3.7 metres. Working footprint is 2.8 metres square. The unit was purchased through local Platform Basket dealer Kunze.
The 13.80E spider
Martin Lachner of Zolling's building yard said: “The spider 13.80E is a welcome addition to our fleet. It enables us to carry out work in the gymnasium more quickly and safely, as we can now dispense with the tedious job of setting up scaffold towers.”
