Skyjack has appointed Andreas ‘Andy’ Stumpf as vice president sales & operations for Europe, the Middle East & Africa, taking over from Charlie Patterson who was promoted to company president last year.
In his new role he will be responsible for all sales, operations and company stores throughout the region with the exception of the company’s manufacturing facility in Oros, Hungary.
Stumpf has spent most of his career with Skyjack and its parent company Linamar, having joined the company in September 2006 as a sales & marketing assistant. In 2008 he took a couple of years out working as a supply chain manager with transport company Elsen Logistics & More, returning to the Linamar group as a key account manager for its component manufacturing business in 2010. After four years in the role, he returned to Skyjack as a regional sales manager for North and Central Germany. In 2015 he was promoted to business unit manager for Skyjack Hebebühnen, the German subsidiary that looks after Germany and Austria.
Charlie Patterson said: “We’re very pleased to announce Andreas as vice president sales & operations for the region. In his new promotion he will play a crucial role as Skyjack continues to develop and grow its global manufacturing footprint.”
Stumpf added: “I am thrilled to accept this new role and look forward to being part of Skyjack’s success as our expanding global manufacturing footprint allows us to make significant gains with new customers and sales across all regions.”
