Among Liebherr’s new product launches at Intermat was the 300 tonne LTM 1300-6.4 the latest model to incorporate the company’s Liccon3 control system.
The control system is the main change that converts the existing LTM 1300-6.3 to the .4 model, the boom lengths, load chart and all other performance parameters are unchanged.
The operator will however notice a good few other changes, in addition to having more computing power and operating system features such as the larger touchscreen display in the superstructure cab, that is said to be more intuitive, informative and easy to use.
The chassis cab has also been changed with an updated design that incorporates premium quality materials, a new ‘multifunction steering wheel’, side roller blind on the driver’s door, central locking system with remote key, improved instruments and new displays. The climate control systems is also new in both cabs, which incorporate a sun sensor that detects and automatically adjusts the heating/cooling settings in strong sunlight. The entire lighting package for the cabs and chassis - including new headlights and work lights - has also been changed.
Introduced in 2022 the LTM 1300-6 features an eight section 90 metre boom, and a maximum tip height of 121 metres. see: Liebherr’s new 300 tonner
