German aerial lift rental company Beyer Mietservices has taken delivery of 16 Oil&Steel 21 metre Octoplus tracked spider lifts.
The Octoplus 21 features a three section telescopic boom with a maximum working height of 20.7 metres and a maximum outreach of 10.6 metres with 200kg in the platform, or nine metres with its maximum platform capacity of 250kg. The lift has an overall weight of 2,850kg and can be powered by petrol, diesel, Bi-energy or a lithium battery with an optional wireless remote option.
The lifts have an overall stowed width of 780mm, an overall height of 1.99 metres and an overall length of 4.97 metres, making them convenient for transport on a truck or in an elevator, while passing easily through a standard single doorway and down narrow pathways.
Oil&Steel sales manager Klaus Niemes said: “Beyer selected the new machines based on their specification, but also as a result of an extensive long-term test and evaluation period."
Founded in 1994, Beyer is managed by founder Dieter Beyer and now runs a fleet of more than 5,500 machines, including work platforms, telehandlers, spider cranes, Pick & carry cranes, excavators, wheel loaders and forklifts.
