Genie has added three new members to its sales and support teams in Austria, Switzerland and Germany, substantially bolstering its regional sales and support.
Matthieu Muller has been appointed as regional parts manager for the central region with responsibility for developing customer relationships and the Genie parts business. He joins the company from an export role with cycling equipment company Ekoï but spent most of the past 10 years or so in the automotive sector having held a variety of roles and responsibilities, including product support, sales and business development with companies such as PSA.
Stephan Franßen joins the company as territory sales manager for northern Germany, having spent a brief period with a start-up venture TPF. He began his career in 2005 working in market research and as a call centre agent, with the IFAK Institute, and Invoco group, becoming a helpline supervisor in 2007. Three years later he set up on his own in the agricultural market, moving to Land-Data Eurosoft in 2012, leaving in 2014 for John Deere agricultural dealer Busch-Poggensee, becoming sales manager for Albersdorf after three years with the company. When John Deere cancelled its relationship with Busch, Franssenwas employed by the new dealer Rebo, moving to Hagge and Teo Farm /TPF a short while later. He was recruited by Genie in April.
Kai-Uwe Zanner will join Terex financial services in January as business partner central Europe. He is currently working with O-Live Coaching and Training, a business he co-founded in 2005. Based in Germany he will be responsible for developing custom financing solutions for Genie dealers and customers across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
Zanner has spent his entire career in equipment finance, having started out in 1999 as account manager with Key Equipment Finance- part of Key Bank, and worked with EMC, NetApp, CIT Leasing, GE Capital where he was appointed European Programme manager in 2010, DeLageLanden /DLL where he was international programme manager, GEA Group where he was senior director financial services, following by short spells with DAL and Wurth.
Sales support director Markus Bandura said: “Working together, our new, strong Central Team is ready to ensure our customers across the region have the support they need from Genie to fuel their business success – whatever their goals may be.”
