German rental company Buller Krane has taken delivery of a 200 tonne Grove GMK5200-1 All Terrain.
The five axle crane features a 64 metre main boom and an 18 metre to 34 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. Features include five outrigger widths, interchangeable counterweights with other Grove cranes in the company’s fleet, Megatrak suspension and all wheel steer.
Co-manager Tobias Buller said: "Flexibility is becoming increasingly important in our industry and especially with regard to the challenging infrastructure work. We are glad that we have a partner at our side who supports us with smart and well thought out solutions. Thus, the new crane is also able to work without a main boom and thus with significantly reduced axle loads, with a total weight of 38.5 tonnes."
Buller Krane was founded by Josef and Ludwig Buller in 1896, it added motorised transport in the 1940s and acquired its first crane in 1968. Now managed by a fifth generation of the Buller family it is based in Gelsenkirchen, north of Düsseldorf, with two depots in Duisburg and Greven.
