300 tonner for Dźwigaj

Polish rental and transport company Dźwigaj has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Grove GMK6300L-1 All Terrain crane.
The GMK6300L-1

The six axle GMK 6300L-1 is equipped with a seven section 80 metre main boom and can handle 14 tonnes on the full boom at a 14 metre radius. It can also be rigged with 37 metres of luffing extensions, for a maximum tip height of 120 metres.
The new crane was purchased through Grove distributor Zeppelin Polska. One of its first jobs involved the installation of a large tower crane in Bydgoszcz, south of Gdansk, a job it was able to complete on main boom.

Dźwigaj's owner, Miroslaw Skwierz said: “purchasing another Grove crane was a natural decision for us. Our company is based around delivering comprehensive and versatile services to customers, and with Grove cranes we can do that. We have a great relationship with Zeppelin Polska, which has supported us consistently. We are confident that our new GMK6300L-1 will contribute to even greater success for us in the future.”

Based in Gdańsk, Dźwigaj was established in 1989, it acquired its first cranes when it began working with shipbuilding companies in 2004, and today runs a fleet that runs from a two axle 30 tonne All Terrain up to a seven axle 450 tonner, and specialises in work for the construction, demolition, bridge building and structural steelwork industries.
