The new model is essentially a stretched version of the 90 metre T900 of which more than 60 units have been sold. It uses the same five section lower boom, four section upper boom and HF articulating jib as on the T900 HF but with longer boom sections. Both models feature a five section lower boom, four section upper boom and the company’s HF articulating jib, but the 100 metre has longer boom sections but a similar maximum outreach of 39 metres. The 3.82 metre by 970mm extended platforms is also equipped with several operator assistance systems, including DRS range optimisation and RTC service & telematics.

The introduction of the first production unit follows its soft launch in July 2023. The company is hoping that the timing of its re-entry into the 100 metre market after a hiatus of more than 20 years, will prove beneficial for both the replacement and fleet expansion markets. It hopes to sell at least 20 units by early 2026. He company says that by 2025 it will have the capacity to produce between 15 and 20 units of its 90 and 100 metre models a year. Application includes work on wind turbines, harbour cranes, overhead power lines and cathedrals or other landmark buildings.

The first unit has been produced for German rental company Gerken. As with the T900 HF, on which it is based, it is mounted on a standard five axle commercial truck chassis, with a choice of Scania, MAN or in north America Kenworth. The average Gross Vehicle Weight is around 53 to 55 tonnes, but 10 tonne axle loads are possible. The overall length of 16.35 metre with a front overhang of 2.64 metres and an overall height of 3.95 metres

The T10000 has two operating modes, the Sky Performance mode and Height Performance mode.

In Sky mode, the lower boom elevation angle is restricted to between 80 and 88.5 degrees for some performance improvements – the 39 metre outreach for examples can be achieved at a height of around 50 metres with 100kg capacity, while the maximum unrestricted capacity is limited to just over 30 metres.

In Height mode, the lower boom has no restrictions providing a larger working envelope, but only achieves 39 metres of outreach at around 15 metres.

The second, third and fourth T1000 HF will go to French rental company Joly Location- the original launch customer. Further models have been ordered by German company Wörle and Galaksi Platform & Vinç in Turkey.

We will produce a more detailed technical overview for publication here and in Cranes & Access magazine once we have all of the technical documentation.
