Indian sales and rental group Mtandt is to take over the distribution of Comansa Tower cranes in India, Nepal and Bhutan in January.
The group’s joint venture tower crane entity Vertikal – no relation to Vertikal.net – just another organisation adopting our name – has signed an exclusive sales and rental partner agreement with the Spanish crane manufacturer for all three countries.
The deal was signed last Wednesday at Comansa’s headquarters in Pamplona, Spain. The current distributor Escorts or rather Escorts Kubota as it is now known, remains the official distributor until year end. It does those appear to be increasingly focused on its pick & carry cranes and earthmoving equipment, rather than represented cranes – it gave up its part of the joint venture with Tadano in 2022 and now seems to have done the same with Comansa.
Vertikal is owned by three shareholders AL Tasnim Enterprises which has majority stake, along with Anand Ramdass of Vertikal and Mtandt.
