Italian tower crane manufacturer Raimondi has delivered two new eight tonne T147 flat top tower cranes to French sales and rental company GP Mat International as part of its rental fleet renewal programme. The new additions along with three new T187 flat-tops take the company’s Raimondi fleet to 200 units.
The T147 cranes have been installed on the site of Les Jardins Harmonia residential construction project being built by HD Construction in Monteux, France. The two cranes have been erected to a hook height of 24 metres with 40 metre jibs providing a 4.35 tonne jib tip capacity. Equipped with a 37kW hoisting gear, the T147 has a maximum line speed of 105 metres a minute, with a drum capacity of 620 metres. Both of the cranes are fitted with Lumina cab equipped with Raimondi’s ConCore control system.
They are working alongside a Raimondi MRT159 flat top tower crane, erected to a height of 33 metres with a 44 metre jib. The cranes are expected to remain on site for around 14 months.
GP Mat president Frank Torchard said: “We are proud to announce that we are invigorating the GP Mat product lineup by adding two Raimondi T147s to our machine portfolio, enhancing our offerings to the French market. The MRT159 remains one of our bestselling models in the region, while the Raimondi Class 110 series cranes have several technical and operational advancements, including improved error diagnostics, faster commissioning, and enhanced overall safety.”
GP Mat International was established in 1994 and is based in Château-Thébaud, western France. The company provides tower cranes and lifting equipment throughout mainland France and its overseas territories.
