A 2.4 tonne Stafford STF 7022 TL flat top tower crane has been installed at the Goldwynn Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas, where it will help build a new Beach front residences tower. The view from cab has to be one of the finest anywhere.
The crane has a free standing height of 71.5 metres and features a 70 metre jib with a 2.4 tonne jib tip capacity.
Stafford's Mike Posener said: “Given the geographical region for this tower crane, we had to consider high wind factors and still this impressive crane offers a maximum lift height of 70 metres and is capable of lifting up to 2.4 tonnes at the jib tip. Safety is the top of our agenda together with reliability. The setting of the crystal clear Bahamian waters as a backdrop, the crane’s performance will support the next phase of this remarkable ongoing project.”
Phoenix, Arizona based Stafford Crane was established in 1996 when Derek Stafford set up his business with a single tower crane in Dublin, Ireland. In 2004 his brother Patrick set up the American operation in Arizona. Today the company sells and rents a wide range of cranes, including mobile towers, overhead cranes and construction hoists, while also offering a range of associated services. It operates across 10 states, with headquarters in Phoenix, and depots in San Diego in California, Denver in Colorado, Salt Lake City in Utah Oklahoma City, and in Texas Austin and Houston. It has also expanded internationally with Stafford Gruas Torre de Mexico in Tijuana.
Have a safe weekend - no matter where you or or what the view is like
