Brad Boehler joins Makinex

Brad Boehler the former president of Skyjack and more recently forestry equipment manufacturer Morbark, has joined Makinex the Australian small tools and equipment manufacturer as president of its North American operation, which is based in Mansfield, Texas on the south east side of Fort Worth.

His brief is to build on the foothold the company has developed since importing its first product into the USA more than a decade ago. He starts this month, but already knows the company and its management well, having served as an advisor to the company for six months to the end of June. He left Morbark in March after three and half years with the company as president having taken up the role in August 2020.
He (left Skyjack in September 2019) after almost 17 years with the Canadian aerial lift manufacturer, progressing from product safety director to vice president engineering culminating in more than eight years as president.

He has also worked with machinery manufacturer Alamo and held advisory or non-executive roles with load directing specialist Vita Inclinata, scissor lift manufacturer Hy-Brid Lifts and simulator company Serious Labs. He was appointed president of IPAF in March 2019 until his departure from Skyjack later that year.

Makinex established in Sydney in 2004, Makinex is owned and managed by founder Rory Kennard he created the name from MAKing INefficiencies Extinct. Its products range from an innovated ‘powered hand truck’ to hybrid power generators, it currently sells in 14 countries, in North America it has started importing HG mini dumpers.
