JLG adds to donation
JLG has donated a further $500,000 to the Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, brining its total donations towards a new facility to $2.5 million.
Craig Paylor, JLG’s president, presented the cheque to FCMC president and chief executive officer, Jason Hawkins, on behalf of all JLG team members. The new medical center provides health care for Fulton County residents and surrounding communities, including McConnellsburg, JLG’s hometown.

“This new medical center is a vital element of enhancing quality healthcare for the entire community, including many of our team members and their families. JLG is honored to support this important phase of the Fulton County Medical Center’s development,” said Paylor.
Hawkins said: “JLG has provided unparalleled support to FCMC and the community it serves. We thank Mr. Paylor and the entire JLG team for their support and generosity.”
Robert G. Bohn, chairman, president and chief executive officer of JLG’s parent company, Oshkosh Truck and Connie Stellmacher, assistant secretary and assistant treasurer of the Oshkosh Truck Foundation, and several medical center board members also attended the presentation.

The Fulton County Medical Center announced its intention to build the $37.5 million replacement facility in 2002, JLG kicked off the project with a $1 million donation, followed by an additional $1.5 million in 2006.
The new center is due to be completed in December and includes a state-of-the-art hospital, a long-term care facility, a new surgical suite and modern medical equipment.
