Indian sales and rental company Mtandt Rentals has placed a $25 million order with Dingli which the company claims is one of its largest investments to date.
The order includes 370 boom lifts with working heights from 12 to 44 metres, along with 330 of Dingli's latest AC+ scissor lifts.
Mtandt Group chief executive, Sagar Sawlani said: "This investment is a testament to our focus on growth and our commitment to equipping our clients with the latest technology. By partnering with Dingli India, we are not only enhancing our product portfolio but also setting new benchmarks for safety and efficiency in the industry.”
R Hariharan, newly appointed Dingli chief executive for the SAARC countries added: “We are thrilled to partner with Mtandt Group on this transformative project. This $25 million order showcases the trust and confidence Mtandt has in our products and reinforces our position as a leading provider of aerial work platforms in the region.”
The machines will be deployed across a wide range of industries including construction, infrastructure and maintenance.
Based in Chennai, Mtandt, was established just over 50 years ago, its sales division distributes Falcon, CMC and teupen spider lifts as well as Dingli aerial lifts. It also sells, rents and manufactures scaffold, safety nets and temporary road mats. It has been growing at a rapid pace over the past year or two and late last year announced a further investment to step this up over the next five years. It currently operates from locations in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi NCR as well as Colombo in Sri Lanka and Qatar in the Middle East.
