“Groundbreaking initiative”

Jekko has announced what it describes as a “groundbreaking initiative” and is devoting a dedicated space on its stand at Bauma for the unveiling of what it describes as “the innovative MAXX – Mobile Assembly XSystem project” that it has been working on with Construction Robotics of RWTH Aachen University, which has also been collaborating with Kuka and Fundermax, major players in the construction and automation sector.

Jekko says that the initiative, is a finalist for the Bauma Innovation Award, and claims that it will bring automation concepts to construction sites, aiming to improve efficiency and safety on site.

At Bauma in April, it will hold live demonstrations of the project, "offering visitors an up close view of how automation can deeply transform the construction industry."
