German rental company Hopp und Hoch has taken delivery of a 21 metre Socage Raptor 21S spider lift.
The 21S features a two section riser, three section boom and articulating jib providing a maximum working height of 20.8 metres. The maximum outreach is 10.3 metres while has a dual platform capacity of 230kg unrestricted with an outreach up to seven metres, or 80kg at 10 metres. Overall weight is 2.6 tonnes, and automatic outrigger setting, levelling and stowage are standard.
Hopp and Hoch managing director Patrick Siebert said: "I first encountered the Socage Raptor at the 2024 Platformers Days in Karlsruhe, where I was able to operate it. After a more detailed demonstration of the tracked platform at our Dingelstädt facility, convinced me to invest in the new machine."
Hopp und Hoch operates from two depots, one in Meinhard (Hesse) and the other Dingelstädt (Thuringia) in central Germany, running a fleet of scissor lifts, truck mounts, trailer lifts and earthmoving equipment.
