Platforms to new aircraft maintenance facility

AJ Access Platforms has supplied a mixture of platforms to a new aircraft maintenance facility in Jordan. The eight new and refurbished machines include a mixture of Genie electric scissor lifts, Skyjack diesel RT scissor lifts and Nifty Bi-Fuel self propelled booms. The machines have been delivered to one of AJ Access Platform’s overseas customers for use in their brand new aircraft maintenance facility.

"Following an initial enquiry and subsequent visit by our customer to our Caldicot sales facility, we identified a number of self propelled scissor lifts and booms that would suit both our customer’s maintenance issues and commercial requirements," said AJ Platform's Neil Wilkinson.

AJ Access Platform’s machines at the new aircraft maintenance facility in the middle east.

"The platforms were needed for a number of different tasks -hanger maintenance, aircraft checks and critical A.O.G (Aircraft On Ground) repairs - so the customer liked the varied machine mix."

Included in the scope of supply was AJ’s ‘door to door’ delivery service that included the coordinating of all customs clearance paperwork, making the whole buying experience as seamless as possible.
