Airtrax appoints H&E
Airtrax has signed a Dealer Agreement with H & E Equipment Services making it the exclusive dealer for Airtrax's Sidewinder ATX-3000 lifts in nine central and western US States.
Under the terms of the agreement, H & E will sell, rent, and service
The ATX-3000 Lift Trucks through 20 locations in the states of California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and Louisiana.
H&E’s Las Vegas location has been conducting extensive onsite product demonstrations for interested customers including MGM, Belagio, Merilaat, Applied Technologies, and the Clark County School District while in California it has provided demonstrations to Boeing Satellite and Paramount Studios.
Baton Rouge based H&E, formerly Head and Engquist, is a major crane and access sales and rental company in the USA, last year it acquired JW Burress another long standing crane and access distributor.
Airtrax builds fork trucks fitted with omni directional wheels, the design of which dates back to 1973. After flirting with MEC which displayed a scissor lift with the wheels at the ARA in 2004, the company has plans to introduce its own Cobra self propelled scissor lifts, although these have been on ‘on the drawing board’ for over two years now.
