The LTM 11200-9.1 superstructure will be be used for the new crawler crane
The undercarriage will be taken from the 1,350 tonne LR 11350/1 lattice crawler crane. A couple of concept drawings are in the hands of one or two major rental companies, but Liebherr says that the final product will not resemble them.

The LTR11200 will use the undercarriage from the LR11350
The principles that the company is looking at will be similar to those used on the 100 tonne LTR 1100. This will be the largest crawler mounted telescopic crane ever built.

The new model will not be seen 'in the iron' for a least a year.
The largest model of this type built to date, was a one-off special produced by Liebherr for a Japanese company in 1990. It combined the superstructure of the 800 tonne, LTM1800 with the crawler base from its LR 1550 lattice crane.
