Manitou develops UK business park

Manitou has developed the land around its UK headquarters in Verwood, Dorset, to create the Manitou Business Complex.

The company acquired the land in the 1970’s and built its current UK offices, workshops and parts warehouse on it. The new 3,254 sq metre development will comprise three new industrial warehousing units with offices on two floors, and will be leased to distribution and warehousing businesses.

The business units on the Manitou Business Park will soon be completed

The ground breaking ceremony was held in September 2006, with the structural build starting in August 2007. A number of Manitou machines have been used in the construction of the buildings with local rental companies Marsh Plant of Havant and Selwoods of Chandlers Ford providing them to the contractors.
