Three shocked by crane
Three men are recovering in hospital after receiving electric shocks while working on a Tulsa construction project. The three men were working on a building yesterday afternoon when a crane lifting a steel beam touched an overhead power line.
The men were pushing the beam into position when the crane touched the 30,000 volt power line. One of the men, a 21-year-old, went into cardiac arrest, but colleagues on site performed CPR on him until the emergency services arrived.
All three were taken to a hospital with burns. So far we have been unable to acertain what type of crane was involved.
