Hi-Reach wins Genie Award
Hi-Reach Manlift of South Africa has won Genie’s 2007 Best Dealer award for the Africa/Latin American region. The award was presented by Andre Freire, managing director of Terex Latin America & Sub Sahara Africa.
Hi-Reach Manlift is a subsidiary of cranes and access rental company Johnson Access, Southern Africa’s largest. It was established just three years ago following an agreement made at Conexpo, since then it claims to have increased Genie sales in the region by 450 percent.

The company is managed by industry veteran George Landsberg , and sells the entire Genie range from material lifts to telehandlers. It is based in Rustivia, Germiston, and has a branch in the East Rand.
The company was founded by Landsberg and Neville Bell – sales manager –in 2005 with the backing of HCI which also has large investments in Johnson.
