JLG wins Navy order
JLG has won an order valued at $24.7 million for an additional 197 JLG Millennia Military Vehicle (MMV) telescopic material handlers for the U.S. Navy. The order was awarded by the Defense Supply Center of Philadelphia.
Over 800 MMVs have been deployed by the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy since 2001. In addition to combat operations, it has been used in relief efforts after the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The JLG MMV telehandler
The MMV telehandler features a maximum load capacity of 11,000 pounds (5,000 kgs) and can operate in climates ranging from minus 25 degrees to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Robert G. Bohn, chairman and chief executive officer of JLG parent Oshkosh, said: "This contract for additional JLG MMV telehandlers will provide the U.S. Navy Seabees Construction Battalion with essential equipment to perform their duties with greater safety, performance and comfort."
