Birchwood takes the Industrial Product Design award

Part of the U-GO low-level access range, Razor Deck scooped the award during the ceremony that was held at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Awarded by a distinguished panel of industry experts, Razor Deck was one of 25 winners chosen from over 1200 entries from design consultancies and their clients spanning categories from product design to TV & film graphics.

The award marks the continuation uccess for U-GO. Recently, the Pak-Flat Podium took the ‘Best Product of the Year’ award at the Hire Awards of Excellence.

Commenting on the win, Anthony Smith (shown receiving the award), Birchwood’s managing director said, “This is a great endorsement for Razor Deck. It’s been a runaway commercial hit, having sold thousands of units since launch. We’re thrilled that the product has also been recognised for its design innovation by Design Week.”

Birchwood wanted to design a product that would bridge the gap between fully manual scaffolding and powered access products.
