Two new members for Access Link

The UK’s Access Link has appointed two new members. Anglia Access of Norwich and Altitude Access of Mansfield. Anglia’s fleet is predominantly Haulotte based, while Altitude access is more JLG orientated.

Anglia, a relative newcomer to the access rental market fills a gap in the Link’s geographic coverage while Altitude, which was founded in 1996, takes over part of the territory vacated when Central Access was acquired by AFI last year.

The two new members will officially become part of the Access Link at the next general meeting to be held in April at JLG’s Maasmechelen production facility in Belgium.

Malcolm Bowers, the 2008 Access Link chairman said: “These two new members are ideally placed to help with our national depot network. Anglia is a relatively new company, with a good fleet mix and is ideally placed to fill an important location on our map.

Altitude has invested heavily in plant and premises lately and their setup is first class. They cover part of the territory previously covered by Central Access before they were acquired” (by AFI).

We recently formed a committee to deal with new applications and both companies met our membership criteria very well indeed. These two depots raises the Link Fleet to 4,400 modern well maintained platforms spread throughout the UK and Ireland.”
