Ainscough confirms Jack deal

Ainscough Crane Hire has confirmed the acquisition, with the support of Bank of Scotland Corporate, of Aberdeen based James Jack Lifting Services Limited.

Ainscough managing director Neil Partridge said: “We are delighted to have concluded this deal, James Jack Lifting Services is a good business and will be an excellent complement to Ainscough. Whilst we intend that the company will operate independently for some time, we extend a warm welcome to all employees, customers and suppliers of James Jack.”

James Jack, chairman of James Jack Lifting Services said: “I am extremely proud of the achievements of the company and employees who have worked with me for so long. As part of the larger Ainscough organisation I’m sure that the company will be able to offer a much wider range of services benefiting staff and customers alike in the future.”

No financial details of the transaction have been released.
