Strong winds blow over crane
A crane loading ships at the Mitsui shipyard in Ichihara, Japan has been blown over by strong winds. The crane collapsed at the Chiba shipyard of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co, slightly injuring its 54 year old operator.

The colllapsed crane
Investigators suspect that the crane - working with a 70 metre jib - fell down as a result of being blown by strong winds. The maximum wind speed hit 22.5 meters per second at the time of the accident as a low pressure system was approaching the Kanto region, according to the local meteorological observatory.
