Hi-Reach passes 2,000

Hi Reach Access, the Swindon, UK, based aerial lift rental company has taken delivery of its 2,000th aerial work platform, a 41 metre Genie Z135/70 self propelled boom lift.

The unit is part of a recent order for 60 Genie boom lifts and is one of 12 big boom lifts in the order which will take the Hi-Reach fleet of boom lifts of over 40 metres to 50 units, placing it among Europe’s largest big boom fleets.

At the same time the company has announced that it increased its revenues by 56 percent in 2007 to £10.9 million. Paul Richards, managing director of Hi-Reach said: The outlook for 2008 is encouraging with early indications showing growth across all product lines and regions. The Genie order is one of a number of orders for new equipment focussed on specific customers and contracts.”
