Skyjack pulls off Volvo telehandler deal
Skyjack has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Volvo’s material handling equipment business based Shippensburg Pennsylvania. The business which includes Ingersoll Rand branded telescopic handlers and rough terrain mast type fork trucks was acquired by Volvo when it purchased Ingersoll Rands road machinery business.

Ken McDougall, president of Skyjack said: “We are very pleased to see the acquisition come to completion, Over the next several months Skyjack will continue to work closely with the
existing dealer networks with a commitment from Volvo to assist us during the transition period.”
“We will be moving the assets from their current location in Shippensburg to a yet to be
determined site in rapid fashion, in order to bring production online in as timely a manner as
possible.”
