Socage steps up
Socage has unveiled its concept for its 100 metre plus truck mounted lift, which will be based on its new 70 metre model TJJ 70 which it will launch at APEX in September. The new 70 metre model will be mounted on a four axle 32 tonne chassis with a main telescopic boom, 22 metre telescopic jib and a short final articulated jib. An optional 900kg lifting capacity winch will also be available for handling loads.

The drawings for the new Socage 105? metre truck mount
The new 100 metre model will be mounted on a five axle truck chassis and incorporate a main telescopic boom, two articulated telescopic jibs and the same short final jib as the TJJ70.
At the same time, Socage, a division of the Fassi group, announced that it has sold 100 of its DA20 articulated truck mounts to Italian rental company, RentUp for delivery this year. It has also taken an option on a further 100 units for delivery in 2009. The company plans to unveil a new DA20 at APEX.

Socage says that it expects to ship around 500 units in 2008, a substantial increase over 2007.
