This latest investment comes five months after the company relocated its replacement parts division to a separate dedicated unit, freeing up additional space for repairs and refurbishment work.
IPS’s service manager, Tony Lock said: “The additional crane will allow us the flexibility to take on more demanding and larger scale repair work. We have the space and facilities to accommodate multiple complete strip downs and refurbishment programmes on the largest boom lifts and truck mounts.”
Operations director, Kevin Shadbolt adds: “There are an increasing number of rental companies looking to outsource their repair and maintenance work predominantly because of time issues, commercial restraints or general lack of facilities. Our aim is to provide a first class solution for them”
