UpRight Holland formed
Omega Platforms the Dutch based niche scissor lift manufacturer has established a new venture - UpRight Holland. Omega is owned by Leen Stenhouwer, the man responsible for some of the world’s most specialised crawler type self propelled scissor lifts. He was also appointed as the Snorkel distributor and European distribution centre just prior to the business being sold to Tanfield.
Since the Snorkel and Upright brands were merged in Europe, Stenhouwer has continued to work with UpRight on a limited basis as a continental European warehouse and has held a significant volume of inventory for the UK based manufacturer at its brand new facility in De Lier which the company moved into almost a year ago.
