Vp buys UCS

Vp owner of UK Forks the telehandler rental company has acquired UCS Plant a tool and telehandler rental company based near Lincoln, UK from the Rand Group.

Vp paid £900,000 for the business and has entered into a three year sole supply agreement with Rand's subsidiaries - UCS Civils and Linpave Building for the supply of a range of tools and other specialist equipment.

The acquired business will remain in place at Rand Group's premises near Lincoln.

Jeremy Pilkington, chairman of Vp said: "The acquisition of the tools and telehandler fleet and the securing of an associated three year sole supply agreement with Rand is an important further development for the Group. We look forward to building a long and successful relationship with Rand and its subsidiaries."
