Gazprom Kran up 72%
Gazprom-Kran, the Kamyshin, Russia based crane manufacturer, has reported its results for the first six months of 2008. The company said that it has produced 172 units of its 32 and 50 tonne Ivanovets truck cranes 72 percent increase on the same period in 2007.
This is based on an increase of over 200 percent on 2006, when only 33 units were built. The greatest increase this year came from the recently launched 50 tonne Ivanovets KC-6478 truck crane which is mounted on a special BAZ-80291 truck chassis manufactured by the Bryansk based automotive plant.

The new Gazprom-Kran Ivanovets KC-6973BM-U1
At the recent CTT show in Moscow Gazprom-Kran displayed its latest models, the 32-tonne Ivanovets KC-59712 crane on a special two-axle BAZ-8027 4õ4 truck type chassis, and the 50-tonne Ivanovets KC-6973BM-U1 on an 8õ8 BAZ-69098 All-Terrain carrier. The new 50 tonner is targeted at oil and gas pipeline construction.
