Tindale wins export award

Richard Tindale, sales and marketing director for UpRight powered access has won one of the export awards presented by One North East and the North East Chamber of Commerce.

The award ceremony which is sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Commercial and Emirates held at the Hilton, Gateshead was attended by over 250 guests.

The awards aim to recognise the efforts of those who have helped their companies reach new heights in international trade and contributed to the region's ongoing success.

Tindale was presented with the Export Award for the individual who has shown exceptional personal achievement in the pursuit of exports. With a mandate to develop global sales for the company he has overseen an 800 percent increase in export sales.

Runners up were: Doug Dooley, of MICC and Adam Wright, of Walker Filtration.
