Manitowoc – Enodis deal moves ahead
Shareholders of food equipment company Enodis have approved its acquisition by Manitowoc with 99 percent of all shares cast in favour of the deal. Completion should now happen during the fourth quarter, following relevant antitrust reviews by regulatory agencies in the U.S.A and other countries.
Glen E. Tellock, Manitowoc's president and chief executive officer said: "We are pleased and excited to have reached another important milestone in the proposed acquisition of Enodis. With Enodis as an integral part of Manitowoc, our Foodservice business will have a broader portfolio of products which will enable us to expand and deepen our relationships with a global customer base, as well as opening the door to a significantly wider range of growth opportunities."
