Siegl celebrates 45 years
Josef Siegl GmbH the German aerial lift and telehandler distributor based in Karlsfeld near Munich, has celebrated its 45th anniversary.
The company opened its doors in 1963 when Josef Siegl senior became the dealer for Steinbock fork trucks for the region around Munich.

Josef Siegls premises in Karlsfeld
1984 the company expanded with the full Steinbock line and moved from München-Pasing to its current location in Karlsfeld. In 1985 Josef Siegl junior joined the business.
1993 the company decided to diversify into the growing aerial lift market and took on the dealership for UpRight in Southern Bavaria. 1995 saw Alexander Siegl join the business.

In 1998 Siegl moved into its current building with over 1.100 square metres of workshops and storage and 450 square metres of offices and training room.
In 2007 the company entered the telescopic handler market with a Dieci dealership. Siegl also has a modest rental fleet to support its sales efforts with 40 work platforms and 100 fork trucks.
