Hull takes over as VP sales -Manitowoc/Grove North America

David Hull has now officially taken up his new role as vice president of sales for Manitowoc crawler and Grove mobile cranes in North America following replacing Bob Hixon who retired in June.

Hull spent the past two and a half years as general manager for Manitowoc cranes in Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney. See new MD for Manitowoc Australia.

Before that, he was director, global trade finance at the company’s Manitowoc Finance division, based at company headquarters in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

In his new role Hull reports to David Birkhauser, Manitowoc’s senior vice president of sales for the Americas and is responsible for all aspects of outside sales and marketing for Manitowoc crawler cranes and Grove mobile cranes in North America. He will manage the company’s team of regional managers who work with distributors and major accounts throughout the United States and Canada.

Birkhauser said: “Dave has had many years of experience at many levels of the Manitowoc organisation. His leadership ability and knowledge of the crane industry will be invaluable as he takes over in this new role.”
