Sany unveils big cranes
Chinese crane manufacturer Sany, has unveiled a 1,000 tonne crawler crane, the SCC 10000 which it says will be ready early next year.
The new crane which follows closely on the heels of its 900 tonner offers a maximum main boom of 120 metres, with a total boom and jib combination of 192 metres.
Also unveiled was a five axle 220 tonne All Terrain crane, the QAY 220 with a 62 metre main boom extendable to 105 metres with jib. The crane has typical German AT componentry, including Mercedes engine, ZF transmission and Kessler axles.
