Peter Jones goes independent

Peter Jones, currently head of UK group technical services at Lavendon is leaving at the end of the year in order to set up his own engineering and operational management consultancy business.

He intends to remain active within the IPAF/CPA Powered Access Interest Group and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers.

Jones said: ‘‘There are projects I want to become involved in, both within and outside of the powered access industry that demand the freedom and flexibility that can only come from working independently. I will be sad to leave Lavendon, they have been a great employer and provided me with real personal development opportunities since joining as a depot manager back in 2001.’’

Andy Wright, Lavendon’s UK chief executive added: ‘‘Peter has been a valued employee over the years and has a wealth of engineering and operational experience. We at Lavendon wish him every success in his future career ’’.
